It’s the end of another girl group. After the disbandment of SISTAR, 2NE1, Wonder Girls, and 4Minute, the girls of T-ara are next 🙁

They’ve also followed after the footsteps of 2NE1, Wonder Girls, and SISTAR, and are releasing a final track before they say goodbye to fans for good. After waiting for 3 months, fans finally have the music video for the track, “What’s My Name (내 이름은)”, which was dropped yesterday (Wednesday, 14th June).

Aside from the title track, the album of the same name also records 8 other songs. 3 of them – “Reload”, “20090729”, and the Chinese version of “What’s My Name?” – are numbers sung by the group as a whole. The rest are solo tracks, namely “Diamond” sung by Qri, “Ooh La La” sung by Hyomin, “Real Love” sung by Eunjung, and “Lullaby” sung by Jiyeon. Meanwhile, the last song is an instrumental version of “What’s My Name?”.

While at their final showcase, the girls also teared up multiple times as they spoke of their affection for each other. The members all agreed that they’ve never regretted their times as T-ara and will cherish the memories they spent together.

However, if there’s one regret, they said that it was not being able to stand on their final stage as 6 for their fans. They continued, “Though we’re sad to see them (Boram and Soyeon) go, we will continue to support them and respect their personal decisions.”

The music video, which shows the girls singing of heartbreak, also has scenes which implied the presence of the 2 other girls. Similar to their MV teaser, the bottle scene, desk scene, and pencil scene showed 2 additional objects vanishing after each scene cut respectively.

The idol group will also meet fans through their first music show performance on “M! Countdown” today (Thursday, 15th June).
