Queen’s, we have bittersweet news for you.
We’re sure you’d be glad to know that T-ara will finally be making their comeback after more than 6 months. On the other hand, this might be their last album as a group of 6.
The news was released by T-ara’s label, MBK Entertainment just today (Thursday, 16th March).
In a short statement, they said:
“T-ara plans on making a comeback on 17th May. Since their contract is set to expire in May, it will be their last comeback as a full group.”
Although a source explained that the members and the company are still discussing contract renewals, another source revealed that this will most likely be T-ara’s last album release as a full group.
However, from now until their contract expiration, they will still be promoting actively in South Korea and internationally. They have schedules planned all the way until June, but the members who will attend those activities will be decided after internal discussions are held.
T-ara’s made their debut in 2009 with the album “Absolute First Album”, which spawned the hit tracks “Geojitmal (Lies)”, “Bo Beep Bo Beep”, “Roly Poly”, “Lovey Dovey”, and more. Their last comeback was in November 2016 with their 8th EP “Remember”, featuring the title track “TIAMO”.
