(UPDATE) #LadiesCode: K-Pop Group Ready To Make A Comeback; Teasers Released

Last month, it was reported that the remaining Ladies’ Code (레이디스 코드) members will be returning to the entertainment scene in the coming months. It was a piece of news that fans rejoiced over, having seen the girls through some really tough times.

In 2014, Ladies’ Code was involved in a car crash that claimed the lives of members EunB and RiSe. They were on the way back to their dorms after wrapping up a performance for an “Open Concert”. The group was in a vehicle traveling near Youngdong Highway towards Incheon in Seoul when the tragic accident happened. It was an event that shook the South Korean music industry and the lives of Ashley, Sojung, and Zuny.

Ashley and Zuny received treatments for their injuries while Sojung had to spend a little more time healing from a jaw surgery. The trio took about a year off to recover from the accident, which includes going for psychological treatments. They were briefly spotted at Incheon International Airport in August last year while they were on their way Tokyo, Japan to commemorate RiSe and EunB‘s death anniversaries through the RiSe & EunB Memorial Concert.

But it seems like the girls are ready to come back for good now!

On 16th February (Tuesday), Polaris Entertainment updated Ladies’ Code’s Facebook page with a “Myst3ry” teaser image which includes the members in matching outfits and lying close to each other. The group will be returning as 3 members, of course, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. The cover photo was also changed to include an announcement that Ladies’ Code will be making their comeback on 24th February.

It is not known as of yet if “Myst3ry” refers to the album title or the title track, but we’re really intrigued and we’re sure that their fans are too! We wonder what their concept will be like, considering the circumstances.

UPDATE (19th February, 9am):

Ladies’ Code has released a second teaser for their highly anticipated comeback in the form of a video titled, “Galaxy”. The 14-second monochromatic teaser drops subtle “triangle” hints throughout the entire clip and features the 3 members looking forlorn.
