Following Dynamic Duo rapper Choiza (최자; real name Choi Jae Ho) and Sulli (설리)’s split in March, the former f(x) member quickly got back into the dating scene.
On 10th May, SM Entertainment confirmed that the actress is currently in a relationship with a non-celebrity brand manager named Kim Min Joon. Apparently, the 2 started off as friends and “became interested in each other recently”. The company added, “She is being careful as (Kim Min Joon) is a non-celebrity. We ask that everyone be respectful (about their relationship).”
After news of Sulli’s new boyfriend broke out, one of Choiza’s past Instagram posts sparked debate among netizens. The post, which features a photo of a barbecued lamb leg, has the caption, “Is this a lamb’s leg?” (literal translation).
However, the Korean word for lamb’s leg (양 다리, pronounced as “yang da-ri”) is also used to describe cheating in a relationship, according to All Kpop.
Seeing this, many fans and netizens claimed that it’s possible that Sulli cheated on Choiza with her current boyfriend while the former couple was still dating.
Choiza and Sulli’s relationship was first revealed by Dispatch, a popular South Korean media outlet in 2014. The dating news was then confirmed by the artistes’ labels – Amoeba Culture and SM Entertainment.
