She’s from Krypton and he is from Daxam. But a couple of episodes ago, Supergirl and Mon-El finally admitted that they have feelings for each other and sealed their new relationship with a romantic kiss.
As it appears, “Supergirl” co-stars Melissa Benoist, 28, and Chris Wood, 28, have taken their onscreen romance into the real world. The sizzling chemistry between the couple has been palpable throughout the season. And now we know why…
This marks Benoist’s first relationship since her shocking divorce from “Glee” star Blake Jenner last December. Similarly, Wood also recently called it quits with “Containment” actress Hanna Mangan Lawrence in early January. This is not the first time both Benoist and Wood have fallen for their co-stars.
Last month, Entertainment Tonight was on the set of “Supergirl” to interview the actors. Wood couldn’t help but gush over Benoist while promoting the DC heroin show. “(Melissa and I have) found this nice pocket for the characters to live in. It was just so easy to play and she’s just so generous as an actress that she just keeps it rolling. She makes it easy,” he said.
Regardless if Benoist and Wood bonded over their public breakups or love for dogs, you have to admit that they both make a super adorable duo 😉
