It’s the end of the year, and it means that the award ceremonies are upon us.
The 2016 edition of the Mnet Asian Music Awards will be taking place next month, and if the rumours are true, it seems like we have some stellar performances lined up for the show.
While Mnet has confirmed the attendance of several artistes and presenters, just today (Monday, 21st November), it was revealed that singer Eric Nam might be working with hip-hop producer Timbaland in order to present a special stage for the awards show.
Mnet released an official statement, explaining, “We are currently in discussion to have Timbaland and Eric Nam perform a collaboration stage at the 2016 Mnet Asian Music Awards.” According to soompi, Timbaland participated in Mnet’s hip-hop show “Show Me The Money 5” in May, so it would not be impossible for the producer-cum-rapper to appear in another Korean production.
Actors and actresses like Lee Byung Hyun, Cha Seung Won, Ha Ji Won, Han Hyo Joo, Jang Hyuk, Han Ji Min, Park Ki Woong, and Park Min Young have been confirmed to attend the show as presenters, while it will be filled by performances by EXO, BTS, SEVENTEEN, GFRIEND, TWICE, I.O.I, and NCT Dream.

Mnet Asian Music Awards is scheduled to be held on 2nd December at the AsiaWorld-Arena, Hong Kong.
