Wow, we definitely did not see this coming.
Only 4 months after releasing her 2nd mini-album, titled “Why”, Taeyeon (태연) is going to drop another single this November! Much to fans’ delight, SM Entertainment surprised fans with 2 gorgeous teaser images in anticipation of her fall return.
Unlike her usual bright image, the teaser photos feature Taeyeon, donning a darker hair colour and eye make-up. While she can be seen lying in bed in one photo, the other shows her sitting in the middle of a large puddle, wearing a white long sleeve top and a black maxi skirt.
The surprise single, titled “11:11”, is said to be a ballad that fuses the tunes of acoustic guitar and the singer’s gentle vocals. Written by well-known lyricist Kim Eana (김이나), the song is about reminiscing past wishes with a former lover when the clock strikes at 11:11.
K-Pop fans can expect many high-anticipated releases this November, as many big-named artistes such as BLACKPINK, BTOB, SISTAR’s Hyorin, former 4Minute member Jiyoon, and EXO’s first sub-unit, EXO-CBX.

Featuring gentle acoustic sounds and ocean waves, the dream-like teaser video shows the singer falling into a mattress, which was placed by the beach.
Taeyeon’s “11:11” will be dropped at 11pm (KST) on 1st November (Tuesday).
