There are always several sides to any story; View Chin and Shermine Hau’s story is no different. Earlier this week, Shermine exposed her husband, claiming he had cheated on her. Her story was backed up by View Chin’s former employee who aired their grievances on Twitter.
On Tuesday (18th April), View Chin revealed his side of the story, claiming it had been Shermine who had cheated on him. Well, it seems Shermine Hau wasn’t too happy with his exposé. As such, she recently came forward to do a tell-all. Needless to say, her story differed from View Chin’s!
View Chin certainly dropped several bombshells during his chat with local media China Press. From alleging his wife had cheated, to claiming her reveal was an effort to regain custody of their kids, View was seemed honest about the whole affair. He even admitted to wanting to marry his staff, Amirah Aqilah aka Mira. But, it seems Shermine Hau was unwilling to let View get away with his story.
Shortly after the exposé, Shermine Hau came forth with her own public response. Notably enough, Shermine claimed she was going to report Mira to the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM). The influencer explained she would be asking the relevant authorities to take action against Mira for destroying her marriage, as discussed with her lawyer.
Shermine also believes Mira’s guilt might have started two years ago. Shermine shared that Mira had been engaged in December 2021, and she and View had attended Mira’s engagement ceremony. “However, I believe Mira broke off the engagement because she was already with View Chin,” she shared. View too confirmed Mira’s engagement and subsequent break, but claimed Mira explained their separation was because they didn’t match.
The influencer alleged that Mira had not apologised to her nor has she explained her actions despite knowing Shermine was aware of Mira’s relationship with View. Even after Shermine’s exposé, the influencer claimed that Mira had yet to respond to her allegations. “She didn’t contact me,” Shermine reportedly said. “I believe she should be hiding.”
Shermine also staunchly denied she had cheated. “I have been married to View Chin for eight years,” she said. “Everyone who knows me can see all the sacrifices I’ve made over the years.” Shermine added that she had been busy with their new baby during the time period View had alleged she had cheated in. “My maid can testify for me,” she stated.
She was also sorely hurt that her husband thought so lightly of their relationship. “I am the other half who loves View Chin very much. I respect and admire him very much,” Shermine Hau claimed. “I always think that he is a man who is self-motivated, ambitious and good at running a business.” She added that she had given View a chance to repent, but he had insisted on keeping his relationship with Mira.
Shermine had laid down several conditions, including asking View to publicly admit he had cheated, and to fire Mira as his employee. “I said I would protect (him), but I wouldn’t protect her,” Shermine said. “But, he said he couldn’t. Even when he was being interviewed by the media, he was protecting Mira (with) every single word.”
In addition to those conditions, Shermine Hau also revealed that she had asked View Chin to transfer 60% of company shares to her. Apparently, she originally had a 20% stake in the company, but View had reportedly refused to give it to her. As such, she hoped to be able to get the 60% instead, to obtain management rights. “I’m doing (this) for the good of the team and the company,” she added.
Curiously enough, Shermine has indirectly denied the supposed change in their marital status. View had previously claimed that they had divorced last December. But, Shermine claims he is still referring to her as his “wife”. But, she did not directly confirm nor deny their alleged divorce. Previously, Shermine had claimed she was forced to sign a divorce agreement under threat of having her sex video spread and being financially cut off.
Well, View Chin has not responded to Shermine Hau’s latest exposé. So far, he seems to be trying to cope without his family. Shermine on the other hand, is supposedly still in hiding with her kids. Well, no one knows how this will play out, but we sincerely hope the duo manage to sort it out soon.
