The Jackson Wang (王嘉爾/왕잭슨) craze isn’t over. Not by a long shot. Despite the fact that Jackson has moved on to his next “Magic Man World Tour” destination, Singapore, Malaysians haven’t let go of him yet. In fact, a few avid fans even got to meet him in Singapore during his fan meet!
Among them were some rather well-known local internet celebs – mainly, influencer Qiu Wen (秋雯), artists Ms Kuan (Christinna) and Jestinna Kuan, and YouTuber Baby Akiyo (蔡侒錤). These lucky girls not only got to meet Jackson in person, they also managed to each snap a selfie with him!
For influencer Qiu Wen, meeting Jackson was an amazing experience. She was especially impressed by the wisdom he doled out, which she later shared on her Instagram. “He (said): “Don’t care about others, don’t think you have to do what the public does, and do what you like”,” she wrote. In her selfie with him, Qiu Wen added, “(Jackson) really brought his own beauty.”
As for the Kuan sisters, they clearly had a good time too. However, curiously enough, Jackson could be spotted putting his hand on Jestinna’s shoulder. Some praised Jestinna for being “lucky”, others advised her to not wash her shoulder. A few, however, teased Jestinna by asking what her boyfriend, YouTuber Danny Lee from 3P, would think. But Danny was quick to give his two cents. “Ok,” he commented. “Handsomer than me.”
Baby Akiyo later shared that she hadn’t expected to be able to take a selfie with Jackson in Singapore. The YouTuber had previously attended Jackson’s performance during the Good Vibes festival, and his recent concert. But this topped the cake! “There’s no sleeping tonight!” she chirped happily.
Well, it seems that the girls all agree that Jackson is beautiful, both inside and out! We’re certainly envious that they got to meet Jackson in person in Singapore – but fingers crossed we’ll have that chance again if he ever returns to Malaysia.
