Malaysia’s Very First Self-Service Beer Bar Has Opened & It Looks Amazing!

Step aside, ordinary bars and pubs, for something unique and fresh has arrived on our shores.

Located at Solaris Mont Kiara, “Tap It Out” is a beer bar with a twist. What makes the bar stand out from all other bars in the Klang Valley is the fact that patrons are allowed to pour and enjoy their favourite beers, all on their own.

Yup, you read that right. “Tap It Out” is a self-service beer bar 😀

We know, we know, the concept is not entirely new, as there have been several pour-your-own beer bars mushrooming in major cities around the world e.g. Chicago (US), Alberta (Canada), New York (US). If you’ve seen this INSIDER video, then you’d know exactly what we’re talking about. The amazing thing is, however, that “Tap It Out” is the very first self-service beer bar aka “beer ATM” in Malaysia!

Of course, there are some perks to this beyond just the cool, technological factor. For starters, a self-service beer bar means that both the establishment as well as the patrons won’t suffer wastage from the pitchers or jugs of beer that are left untouched. The service also provides a great interactive experience for patrons as they have full control of pulling their own beers from the tap and manage how much they consume on their own.

Psst. “Tap It Out” also told us exclusively that their bar also features an interactive environment inside, complete with beer pong games. Brilliant!

Is this the most revolutionary beer drinking experience in Malaysia yet? We think so. And it’s going to be only a matter of time before this becomes the talk of the town. You heard/read it here first 😉

“Tap It Out” is located at K-01-05, Soho KL, No 2 Jalan Solaris, 50480 Kuala Lumpur. The establishment is open from 5pm till 2am, 7 days a week.
