Korean mega star Bae Yong Joon’s (배용준) wife, actress Park Soo Jin (박수진), has given birth to a baby boy on Sunday (23rd October) at a hospital in Seoul.
A source from the actor’s label, KeyEast Entertainment (키이스트), said, “Bae Yong Joon and Park Soo Jin became the parents of a baby boy. Park Soo Jin gave birth at a hospital in the Gangnam area on 23rd October. Both the mother and the child are healthy. Please look kindly on the happy parents”.
It was reported that he stayed by his wife’s side during her labour. The news comes after the couple announced that they were expecting their first child in April.
44-year-old Bae Yong Joon shot to international fame with his roles in “Winter Sonata” and “April Snow” while 30-year-old Park Soo Jin was a member of K-Pop idol girl group Sugar (슈가) in the early 2000s alongside Ahyoomee, Hwang Jung Eum, Lee Ha Rin, and Hye Seung.
After dating for only 3 months, the lovebirds tied the knot in July 2015 at an intimate wedding, which was attended by several of their celebrity friends such as Song Seung Hun, Kim Soo Hyun, and Lee Hyun Woo.
