JYJ’s Park Yoochun’s (박유천) legal representatives from Shin & Kim’s law firm filed charges against the idol’s star first accuser known as Ms. Lee, her boyfriend, and her cousin yesterday (Monday, 20th June) at the Gangnam Police Station.
According to various media reports, Ms. Lee’s boyfriend, who is a gang member in Seoul, demanded a high amount of settlement fee from C-JeS Entertainment prior to filing the police report.
Apparently, the details of the settlement was included in the report filed by the singer’s lawyer. C-JeS side claimed that the victim’s boyfriend demanded KRW1 billion (approximately RM3.5 million) before they went to the police. “Because I was raped I can’t live in Korea anymore. I’m going to move to China,” claimed Ms. Lee.
The couple filed the sexual assault lawsuit later on the same day after Yoochun’s label refused their demands.
Meanwhile, the police has concluded the first round of questioning with the 4 alleged victims and the women have submitted their official statements to the authorities. It was also reported that all 4 women stated that Yoochun grabbed the bathroom door’s handle and would not let them leave.
The 30-year-old star was accused of sexually assaulting an employee of an exclusive adult entertainment bar on 10th June. After many rumours and false reports, the police confirmed that the victim withdrew her claims against the star on 15th June but they decided to continue the investigation to determine Yoochun’s innocence.
3 sexual assault lawsuits were filed against the singer by 3 different women on 16th and 17th June.
