Horror fans! Get ready to be spooked as the final installment of the “Insidious” franchise will hit the big screens next month! “Insidious: The Red Door” brings back the horror franchise’s original cast for the final chapter of the Lambert family’s terrifying saga, directed by Patrick Wilson himself.
The upcoming movie is set to pick up where the second movie, “Insidious: Chapter 2” left off. The gifted father and son duo must travel deeper into The Further, facing their family’s dark past and a host of new and more horrifying terrors that lurk behind the red door.
The official plot synopsis reads:
“Set ten years after the ending events of the second film, Josh Lambert heads east to drop his son Dalton off at an idyllic, ivy-league university. However, Dalton’s college dream becomes a nightmare when the repressed demons of his past suddenly return to haunt them both. To end the haunting and to put the demons to rest once and for all, Josh and Dalton must return once again to the Further in order to stop the Lambert nightmare for good.”
