It’s been a few weeks since The Exchange TRX opened its doors to the public and while many were excited about the new luxury shopping centre, others voiced their concerns about traffic jams and parking fees. Apart from those, some also questioned maintenance after the mall suffered a blackout just a day after its launch.
One of the main attractions of the new mall is the TRX City Park and it’s been a huge hit with visitors (especially families with small kids). While it had a few hiccups during the first week, things have certainly improved in ensuring visitors will not misuse the facilities. Here’s why:
@hypemalaysia It’s good to see that there are now several security guards monitoring the outdoor playground. #theexchangetrx #trxcitypark #trxmall
As reported in our previous articles, many visitors, mostly families with small children, were misusing the water facilities at TRX City Park to the point that one of the attractions, known as the spiral pool, got damaged. The Exchange TRX then clarified that children can play in the activity zone but are not encouraged to sit inside the spiral pool. Since then, the mall has reinstated some newly established rules for the park’s visitors to highlight what they can and cannot do.
Apart from that, it appears that they have also assigned some security guards to monitor people’s behaviour. We paid a visit very recently and saw that there were several guards on duty, as seen in the video posted above. It also looked like the visitors were following the newly established rules as no children were seen playing inside the spiral pool, though security was there to make sure of that.
As for maintenance and cleanliness, the park appeared to be in tip-top condition so far. We’re glad to know that The Exchange TRX is taking everyone’s feedback seriously to ensure everyone is comfortable and enjoying themselves not only at the mall but also the TRX City Park.
What do you think? Will the addition of the guards help maintain order or will it take away the fun cause you’d be observed at all times?
