The year’s first Milan Fashion Week (MFW), a.k.a one of fashion’s biggest weeks, is finally upon us. In addition to seeing what new pieces go down the runway, fans and fashionistas are equally excited to see which A-lister will appear at the many scheduled fashion shows.
This year, local influencer Christinna Kuan will be one of the many Asian stars attending MFW and one of the few Malaysian figures representing the country at the coveted event. The star, known more familiarly as Ms Kuan, is no stranger to Fashion Week, having attended last year’s edition of Milan Fashion Week, plus Paris’ and New York’s.
Unfortunately, it’s unknown which fashion show Christinna will be attending at MFW – but fashion magazine L’Officiel Malaysia reported that she will be at several shows throughout the week. In a recent Instagram reel, the star also confirmed that she will be in the Italian city for over ten days, so fans can expect to see more of Ms Kuan at MFW.
Also representing the Southeast Asian region is Singaporean actor-singer Glenn Yong. The 27-year-old will attend the Onitsuka Tiger show scheduled for 21st February (Malaysian Time). Some fans can’t help but wonder if both Christinna and Glenn will meet up while in Milan, given their rumoured romance. However, since Christinna has yet to confirm which shows she’s attending, fans can only hope that the Onitsuka Tiger show is on her list.
Several other Southeast Asian stars will also make appearances at Milan Fashion Week, including Malaysian cosplayer Hakken and Thai actor Gulf Kanawut for Onitsuka Tiger, Thai actress Bella Campen for Fendi and Thai actor Apo Nattawin for Ferrari Women.
