Throughout the year 2023, many local celebrities and influencers have shared the exciting news with fans about expecting a baby in 2024! Some of these public figures will be first-time parents so they have a lot to look forward to this year.
Without any further ado, here’s our list of local celebrity couples who will be welcoming their little bundle of joys in the year 2024:
1. Jane Chuck and Han Pin
Let’s start off with the latest one. Last week, entrepreneur couple Jane Chuck and Han Pin announced on Christmas Day that they are expecting their first child together. The couple also posted what happened when they first learned about Jane’s pregnancy in late September through a video uploaded on Jane’s YouTube channel.
2. Daphne Charice and Kun
Best friends who got pregnant together, stay together. Jane Chuck’s BFF, influencer Daphne Charice announced back in July that she and her husband Kun are expecting their first child in 2024. She even posed together with Jane for a photo that was posted on Christmas day. We’re sure that these mommies-to-be will plan many playdates together with their kids.
3. Caprice and Farra Inalis
Caprice has been married to Farra Inalis since November 2021 and the rapper became a stepfather to his wife’s daughter, Aleesya Sofea from her previous marriage but he will soon have a child of his own. The couple announced back in September last year that Farra was already 5 months pregnant!
In one of the “Abang Nak Tegur” artist’s post, the two shared the sweet moment of them preparing a baby’s cot in their bedroom.
4. Yana Samsudin and Fadzil Zahari
Another member will soon join actress Yana Samsudin and actor Fadzil Zahari’s family of four! Back in October, the 39-year-old star announced that she was 6 months pregnant with her 3rd child. She and her husband will be expecting the little one to arrive around sometime later this month or latest next month.
5. Ryan Bakery and Elyia Ibrahim
After 1 year of marriage, entrepreneur Ryan Bakery and his wife Elya Ibrahim will be expecting their first child together in early 2024. Back in December, Elya posted a photo on Instagram where she and her husband took a bite out of cupcakes to reveal that they were having a baby boy.
6. Dayana Roza and A’dale Adham Ayahudin
Speaking of gender reveal, actress Dayana Roza and her husband entrepreneur A’dale Adham Ayahudin had a gender reveal party back in October attended by close friends and family. In her Instagram carousel post, it was revealed that the two would be expecting a baby boy! The couple married back in 2020 and had one daughter together, Astris Raheeya.
7. Daler Yusuf and Sakinah Burikul
After secretly marrying his wife Sakinah Burikul a decade ago, model and actor Daler Yusof announced on Instagram that the two of them will be expecting their 3rd child together. In the post, the couple showed off a sonogram photo of their little bundle of joy.
8. Mona Allen and Pekin Ibrahim
Barely 2 years after the birth of their son Petra, actress Mona Allen and actor Pekin Ibrahim announced a week ago that they’re expecting their second child! The 38-year-old expressed her gratitude on Instagram and that she’s currently in her 2nd trimester.
9. Zahirah Macwilson and Aiman Hakim Ridza
It’ll be a Happy New Year for actress Zahirah Macwilson as she is expecting a second child with her husband Aiman Hakim Ridza. The couple posted a photo of a sonogram of their child on Instagram after the actress went for an ultrasound examination. The love birds had their first son, Isaac Raees back in February 2020.
10. Intan Ladyana and Harris Alif
Actress Intan Ladyana dropped a bomb on her fans last week after she announced that she and her husband actor Harris Alif are expecting their second child together. The couple had been keeping her pregnancy under wraps all this while and she’s still staying about how long she’s been pregnant. Judging from her latest IG post, we can assume that it’s definitely been more than a few months by the size of her baby bump.
11. Shila Amzah and Ubai Mz
It hasn’t been a year since they got married but now both Shila Amzah and Ubai Mz have something else to look forward to this year. The couple took to Instagram to announce that they are expecting their first child together! Ubai became Seth Uwais’s stepfather after marrying the singer and now it looks like Seth is ready to be a big brother to the new addition to the family.
