Whether you’re looking for a new cafe or some pet-friendly cafes where you can spend quality time with your furbabies, here are 8 of the best pet cafes in Malaysia that you should visit:

Puchi Marry Cat Café – Coo & Riku, Kuala Lumpur

Puchi Marry Cat Café was opened by the famous pet store from Japan, Coo & Riku. Located in Lalaport Bukit Bintang, it’s one of the most aesthetically-pleasing pet cafes in KL. If you’re a cat lover, you can look forward to play and snap endless pictures of the adorable kitties in the cafe. The cat area is divided into four sections, and it offers a lot of seating places for humans, as well as climbable structures for the cats. You can experience the cat haven for RM30 for 30 minutes, or RM70 for the entire day.

Clawset Pet Cafe, Selangor

This cafe is attached to a pet salon, so its the perfect place for pet owners to bring their furbabies to relax while waiting for them to get groomed. Known for their resident Pomeranians, you’ll catch these fluffy pom-poms dressed in adorable outfits. Food-wise, they offer a variety of Western food like pasta, waffles, and a curated menu for pets! The cafe doesn’t have an entrance fee, and the food there is pretty delicious, so definitely a place worth checking out!

Bark & Bean, Penang

Bark & Bean is located next to The Fox Butler, a reputable pet store/pet grooming specialist in Penang. Not only do they serve delicious fresh bakes for humans, they also have a carefully-curated selection of treats for the furry friends too. The place is a cozy and comfortable space for both you and your pet to chill at, while also mingling with other pups. It’s definitely a cafe worth trying out thanks to its relaxing environment and reasonably priced food and drinks.

Zoology Cafe, Melaka

More of a fan of wildlife and exotic animals? Zoology Cafe houses a variety of beautiful animals, including cats and dogs, chameleons, raccoons, meerkats, snakes, iguanas, and sugar gliders. You’ll get the opportunity to see and pet the wildlife up close, while filling your taste buds with some brilliant food, from coffee to desserts to a variety of delicious main courses.

The Huskitory, Melaka

Love Huskies? Then you gotta visit The Huskitory in Melaka. Housing more than 20 award-winning Siberian Huskies, it’s known as one of the best dog cafes in Malaysia. You can cuddle with them, hug them, feed them, or even take a group photo with all of the Huskies in the house. There are different timeslots and sessions, so make sure to book ahead of time. You’ll be given a free drink and a memory gift each time you visit.

Chow Q Cafe, Johor Bahru

Chow Q Cafe houses a bunch of fluffy pups, including Chow Chow, Shiba Inu, and giant Poodles! The cafe offers mainly boba tea drinks and finger food for you to munch on while you play with the doggos in the cafe. While there is no entrance fee, each person is required to order a minimum of one drink. It’s certainly a must-go for dog lovers – the Chow Chow puppies are simply too ‘Q’ to miss out on!

Shiba Cafe, Johor Bahru

You may have heard of this one, since it’s Malaysia’s first Shiba Inu dog cafe! There are 10 Shiba Inus in the cafe for you to cuddle and play with. Entry costs RM10 per hour, and they also provide free soft drinks. There are also other beverage options for you to choose from, as well as some finger foods. All of the residents in this pet cafe are well-trained and friendly, so you won’t have to worry about them misbehaving.
