Aliff Syukri is insisting that he has never faked his “Datuk Seri” title! The wealthy businessman took to his Instagram recently to set the record straight on the public’s confusion surrounding the matter.
For context, an FB user named Aliff Ahmad caused quite a stir online after he came up with a post exposing the list of celebs who have allegedly faked their titles on his socials. Based on his finding, the netizen disclosed that Aliff was awarded the DIMP, which carries the title Dato’ (not Datuk Seri), back in 2012.
Following that, the “Bobo Di Mana” singer later shared his response towards the allegation. “You (Aliff Ahmad) said (in your social media) that I don’t have a Datuk Seri title. How could you? I was 30 when I received my Datuk Seri title,” Aliff clarified in his video posting.
In the same post, the 35-year-old entrepreneur also shared a screenshot of the system and claimed that they had left the last letter from his name. “So, who’s the one at fault here? The system clearly shows that I was awarded a Datuk Seri title. They left the last F letter from my name. But it’s okay, I prefer not to exaggerate the matter.”

Aliff wasn’t the only one who was quick to debunk the circulating rumour. Last week, local actress Datin Fouziah Gous came forward to shut down all the claims saying that her husband’s title is illegitimate. On the other hand, both Heliza Helmi and Eina Azman have yet to address their respective spouses’ “fake Datukship” scandal.
