It’s finally happening. After numerous rumours, Taylor Swift is ready for music domination with the confirmation of her new album, “Reputation”.
Shot by Mert & Marcus, the 27-year-old pop star didn’t just release the album cover art, but also the album title and release date. She also revealed that her brand new single will be dropping tomorrow (Friday, 25th August). Understandably, the internet is losing it.
To recap, Swift caused fans to panic when her social media presence disappeared over the past few days. The blank space was then replaced by cryptic snippets of a snake. It was a strange but effective method to draw attention. Many saw the hissing reptile as a reference to her ongoing feud with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.
As for her cover art, it’s a black-and-white photo of Swift casually dressed in comfy top with dark lipstick and a chain choker while sporting wet hair. The singer-songwriter is accompanied by a backdrop of fake headliners from newspapers and articles, all containing 2 very distinctive words – Taylor Swift.
For die-hard Swifties, it’s time to celebrate their favourite idol’s official return to the music scene. And trust us, they have plenty to say. Take a look:
