If you haven’t heard, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have officially tied the knot! Less than a year after announcing their engagement, the pop icon and the star athlete said their “I Do’s” at a lavish wedding ceremony at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
Taylor’s publicist confirmed the happy couple officially married on 3rd July 2026 (Friday EST). Around the time the pair officiated their union, giant screens outside the New York arena lit up with the message, “JUST&T MARRIED”. While what happened inside the venue remains under wraps, small details about the celebration have emerged, giving a glimpse into Taylor and Travis’ nuptials. Here are some of the highlights:
Adam Sandler Was The Officiant

One notable detail confirmed about the wedding was that actor Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony. Taylor and Travis both have a connection to the comedian, particularly his movie “Happy Gilmore”. Taylor’s song “Wi$h Li$t”, in which she talks about settling down with Travis, takes inspiration from the movie and Adam’s character.
On the other hand, Travis had a cameo in the movie’s 2025 sequel, so it felt right to have the actor officiate the wedding. And in case you’re wondering about Adam’s qualification, in New York State, any adult can apply for a One-Day Marriage Officiant License to oversee a marriage ceremony.
Taylor & Travis Wore Custom Dior Haute Couture
As with every celebrity wedding, everyone was curious about what – or who – Taylor and Travis wore at their wedding. While there are no photos of the couple’s wedding attire (yet), Taylor’s spokeswoman confirmed that their wedding dress and suit were both Christian Dior Haute Couture, custom designed by Jonathan Anderson.
Taylor and Travis reportedly collaborated with the designer on their wedding attire. The designs also marked Jonathan’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. As for shoes and accessories, the couple wore custom Christian Louboutin shoes, and Taylor donned Cartier jewellery.
The Couple’s Brothers Were Man Of Honour & Best Man

While Taylor and Travis have no shortage of close friends to make up a star-studded lineup of bridesmaids and groomsmen, the couple decided to go against tradition, keeping things simple and in the family. According to a statement from the singer’s spokeswoman, Taylor chose her younger brother Austin as her man of honour.
With Taylor once describing her brother as one of her best pals, it’s no surprise that the singer wanted her brother to have an important role in her big day. Likewise, Travis appointed his brother, fellow football star Jason Kelce, as his best man. The two brothers are also co-hosts of the “New Heights” podcast.
The Guest List Was Star-studded
Even before the wedding took place, there were rumours that the ceremony was going to be star-studded – and it was! Madison Square Garden was packed with celebrities on 3rd July, with about 1,000 names from music, Hollywood and sport in attendance. The guest list included Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Tom Hanks, Sir Paul McCartney and more.
News outlets speculate that the guests were asked not to share too much information about the ceremony or share any photos from the event. However, some stars did hint that they were part of Taylor and Travis’ big day, including “Modern Family” actor Eric Stonestreet and “Severence” star Adam Scott.
More and more details about the wedding have emerged on social media, including the decor and the door gifts. However, fans are no doubt waiting for Taylor and Travis to share about their big day. Congratulations to the happy couple on their marriage, and may their love last a lifetime.
