Divorce can be pretty ugly. While some ex-couples can settle their separation maturely, there are those who are constantly at each other’s throats for whatever reason they may have. Last September, there was a commotion when a local stock expert married his second wife, who was also his 25-year-old student in Thailand.

The story became the talk of netizens again when his ex-wife revealed that he did not verify with her whether or not she has officially received the divorce certificate from court prior to his wedding ceremony. Things seemed to have calmed down after a while, that is until very recently.

Stock expert Dato Dr. Nazri Khan’s ex-wife, Atielia De Sams recently posted on her Facebook to call her ex-husband out for something he did without her consent. According to the Facebook post, the entrepreneur is apparently selling a house worth RM6.5 million on land his ex-wife had caveated. “Who gave you permission to sell? I caveated this land and I did not agree to anything,” she wrote.

The public figure posted a screenshot of the house being advertised on iProperty. In the post, she questioned how a caveated land can even be advertised for sale. “If you do really want to sell the house, at least settle my divorce rights first!” said the mother-of-one. According to the advertisement on iProperty, the house being sold is a modern 8-bedroom and 9-bathroom bungalow with an area of 18,018 square feet in Putra Hills, Bandar Seri Putra, Bangi.

Her post gained a lot of attention from netizens, especially those who have knowledge in the real estate field. Some shared that caveated land cannot be sold within 6 years nor can it be sold without a written agreement from the individual who caveated said land.

A few netizens even suggested that Atielia should report her ex-husband to the police for fraud and for neglecting divorce rights. At the time of writing, there has been no update from Atielia nor has there been any statement released by Dato Dr. Nazri Khan.
