Last year, influencer Misya Mazlan alleged that the daughter of two local celebrities had been having an affair with her husband Aslam. The story caused a lot of controversy and the supposed homewrecker was later identified as Marrisa Dania, daughter of actress Abby Abadi and actor Norman Hakim.
The drama has since died down and the people involved have made peace with each other but that doesn’t mean netizens stopped being curious as to what happened after. Thankfully, Misya went online to address some of those concerns.
Over the weekend, Misya did a livestream on her TikTok channel where many netizens have been curious about her polygamous marriage. Some have asked her for updates on her life after the controversy broke out last year. The content creator revealed that she rarely speaks to her husband and would only reach out to him when necessary.
According to the influencer, not contacting her husband has been healthy for her marriage. “It doesn’t matter whose turn it is but I can say that men are easily agitated. So to avoid any nonsense, I just don’t contact him when I don’t need to. I just let Aslam be. That’s my tip. However, I do inform him whenever I go out. I wouldn’t ask him about his activities. I’d just be even more stressed and anxious so to avoid arguments, I just don’t ask,” she said.
During the same broadcast, the 25-year-old urged her followers not to compare her to her husband’s second wife Marrisa Dania. “I chose to stay in this marriage so I will deal with the consequences. I also don’t understand why people would find the need to compare. I am me and she is her. You can ask questions if you don’t understand polygamy but there’s no need to start drama,” the entrepreneur elaborated.
