One great thing about being an international superstar is that you can tour around the world and perform for your fans. Many would always look forward to the day their idols visit their country to do a concert or a simple meet and greet. The experience may only be a once-in-a-lifetime thing so everyone will take every chance they get to get tickets.

An old interview video of English-Albanian singer Dua Lipa resurfaced on TikTok that has recently gone viral. TikTok user @duafvr posted a short clip of the singer earlier this month answering a question she received from a fan. The question reads, “The most interesting place Dua has ever visited?”. The “Levitating” songstress answered that KL, Malaysia was the one she found most interesting, much to her fans’ surprise.
“I’ve visited lots of places but I really like Kuala Lumpur. I went to an amazing Temple there that I absolutely loved,” she stated. While the singer did not specify which temple she visited, we can assume that it’s most likely the Thean Hou Temple as she was seen going sightseeing there. The three-time Grammy Award winner further elaborated that her favourite experiences are from her visits to Asian countries. “There are still so many other places that I haven’t yet been to, even in Europe,” the singer shared.
The viral video which has now gained 631.8k views and 49.9k likes caught the attention of Malaysian fans with many actually being surprised to hear her answer. Apparently, this info was not widely known as some did not expect KL to be her answer but nevertheless, they were very excited to know the capital of Malaysia was one of her favourite places.
Despite being previously mocked by Malaysian fans for her father’s birthday post, it is actually quite surprising that Dua still chose Kuala Lumpur as one of her favourite places she’s ever visited. For your information, Dua Lipa’s last visit to Malaysia was in 2018 during her “Self-Titled World Tour”. We’re now looking forward to the day of her return and hearing more of her stories during her next visit.
