In case you missed it, K-pop boy group ZEROBASEONE will be performing their “HERE & NOW” concert at the Idea Live Arena later this weekend! Fans who can’t attend the concert will still have the chance to see the idols in person, as it’s also been announced that they’ll be holding a physical fansigning event the following day.
As usual, if you couldn’t attend the concert or the fansigning, the next best thing is to catch a glimpse of the singer when they arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1. That’s exactly what these fans were up to last night (Thursday, 6th November). Here’s what went down:
Even before Korean fans notified Malaysian fans about ZEROBASEONE’s departure for their flight to Kuala Lumpur, many had already gathered at KLIA for the chance to see and greet the idols as soon as they arrived. To make the experience even more welcoming, some fans brought along large banners of each member so the idols could see them as they walked through the arrival gates.
According to videos and photos posted on social media, the group safely arrived in Malaysia at around 11:30pm. As seen in those clips, fans immediately erupted in cheers from the upper floor as soon as the boys came into view while making their way through the terminal. The members were seen smiling and waving at excited fans, with some even taking out their phones to record the moment.
Those who didn’t manage to greet the idols at the airport reacted to the footage shared online, expressing how adorable it was to see the boys filming the fans from their point of view. Others commented that they couldn’t wait to see ZB1 perform on stage later this weekend. It’s lovely to see that the members felt loved and welcomed upon their arrival at KLIA.
Speaking of which, for those who may have concerns about fans gathering at the airport, KLIA themselves have encouraged the culture, provided that everyone keeps a safe distance and appropriate measures are in place to ensure public safety. The move earned praise from fans, as it gives those who aren’t able to attend the concert or other events a chance to see the idols in person.
