After a long wait, the new Apple TV+ original series, “KPOPPED”, has finally premiered! This experimental music show highlights the special collaborations between top K-pop groups and music legends, including Spice Girls and TLC.
“KPOPPED” first caught the attention of fans earlier this year when reports emerged that American rapper Megan Thee Stallion and South Korean singer PSY were teaming up for a new K-pop singing competition featuring acts like ATEEZ (에이티즈) and ITZY (있지) After months of waiting, the show premiered worldwide on 29th August 2025 (Friday). All eight episodes of the season are now available on the Apple TV app.


The series proceeds in a competition format, as the members of a K-pop group divide into two teams to compete with each other. The two teams then partner up with a legendary musician to perform a hit song from the singer’s discography. In addition to the performances, the show also features scenes of the stars touring South Korea and practising for their stages. The episodes and their featured artists are as follows:
- Episode 1: Billlie (빌리) with Megan Thee Stallion and Patti LaBelle
- Episode 2: ITZY with Spice Girls
- Episode 3: Kep1er (케플러) with Vanilla Ice and Taylor Dayne
- Episode 4: JO1 (ジェイオーワン) with Eve and Kesha
- Episode 5: ATEEZ with Kylie Minogue and J Balvin
- Episode 6: STAYC (스테이씨) with TLC and Boy George
- Episode 7: KISS OF LIFE ( 키스 오브 라이프) with Ava Max and Jess Glynne
- Episode 8: BLACKSWAN (블랙스완) with Boyz II Men


Amongst the hit songs performed during the show are “Savage” by Megan Thee Stallion, “Mi Gente” by J Balvin, “Tell It To My Heart” by Taylor Dayne, “Say You’ll Be There” by Spice Girls and “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” by Kylie Minogue. All the songs performed were remixed and feature new choreography, giving them a fresh reinterpretation that can only be heard on the show.
