Recently, it was announced that the Korean Brand & Entertainment Expo (KBBE) will be heading to Kuala Lumpur from 11th to 13th December. The previous event was held at the American Dream Mall in New Jersey and featured appearances by actress Ha Ji-won and K-pop idols Taemin and MAMAMOO’s Hwasa, who served as the festival’s ambassadors.

It was previously stated that several Korean stars would act as ambassadors for the upcoming event at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre; however, at the time, the official website only offered hints by sharing silhouettes of the celebs. Now, it has finally been confirmed who will be making an appearance. Let’s find out:

After nearly two weeks of speculation, we finally have our answer regarding who will be joining the artist line-up for the upcoming Korean festival. Earlier today (Monday, 24 November), the official KBBE Instagram page announced the Korean acts who will be serving as ambassadors for the KL stop of this highly anticipated event. The artists are:

  • K-pop idol group xikers (싸이커스) and global group NEXZ (넥스지)
  • Actress Mun Ka-Young (문가영)

The Expo marks NEXZ and xikers’ first time in Malaysia, while Mun Ka-Young have previously been to the country back in August. According to the announcement, these artists will be attending the Fan Meetup Events, K-pop Concert, and other exciting activities at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre (SPCC) from 12th to 13th December, so if you want to see any of them, these are the dates to mark in your calendar.

In addition to the stars’ appearances, visitors will also be able to enjoy special programmes, including the K-Beauty Makeup Show, K-Food Cooking Show, and K-Brand Pop-up Store. KBEE is an open event for all to experience, but for the concert and meet-and-greets, you’d need to get your hands on the tickets, which you can find out more about here. Are you excited? Which of these Korean stars are you looking most forward to seeing?
