(Video) Did Someone Drop Off Their Child At School In Shah Alam By Helicopter?

Most students would take the bus to go to school or have their parents drop them off. You’ve also probably seen a few luxurious vehicles around the school area dropping off the child which is nothing too out of the ordinary.

But what if one day, you saw a student being sent to school via helicopter? Sounds like something out of a movie but that’s exactly what happened not too long ago in Shah Alam.

A video has been circulating on social media recently that showed a helicopter landing in a field nearby a primary school in Shah Alam. It was unknown if they had any authorisation to do so. It was reported that the incident took place back in April at Setia Ecopark, Shah Alam. It was alleged that a young boy in a school uniform can be seen exiting the aircraft and walking towards the school gates, as seen in the photo above.

An anonymous resident in the neighbourhood who filmed the incident told the media that this was the second time it occurred in the area. “On 5th May, I raised this matter with the school through Facebook, not only to complain about the helicopter issue but also to voice concerns about parents parking on the side of the road in our residential area,” they said.

According to Shah Alam District police chief ACP Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim, a police report has been filed and the viral video was then submitted to the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) for further investigations. While the incident did raise some concerns, many netizens were actually quite impressed that the student got to live their childhood dreams of being dropped off at school by a helicopter.

At the time of writing, there has been no update from local authorities or CAAM regarding this case. We have to admit, it’s not every day someone gets to flex arriving at school in a helicopter. That is one lucky kid. Let’s hope that no rules were actually broken during the incident.
