BTS (방탄소년단) member V (뷔) is booked and busy! Amidst preparing for BTS’s long-awaited comeback, the vocalist recently threw the ceremonial first pitch at the recent baseball game, showcasing his good looks and incredible baseball skills.
On 25th August 2025 (Monday), the star made an appearance at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles to throw the ceremonial first pitch for the game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Cincinnati Reds. When the MLB first announced V’s appearance at the game, fans rushed to its website to grab tickets, resulting in the website crashing. Additionally, there was overwhelming traffic during the game’s live broadcast, further highlighting V’s popularity.
The MLB have uploaded clips of V’s appearance at the game and first pitch on its social media pages, drawing a lot of attention from both ARMYs (BTS fans) and baseball fans. As shown in the clip, the idol threw a strike to player Yoshinobu Yamamoto (山本 由伸), showcasing his athleticism. In the comments, many praised the idol’s pitching skills, with some even saying it was one of the best pitches thrown by a celebrity.
Besides throwing the ceremonial first pitch, V also met up with the LA Dodgers’ star player Shohei Ohtani (大谷 翔平) for a quick chat before the game. Photos and videos of their interaction quickly went viral across social media, with many gushing over the two’s visuals. Some fans even quipped that the meeting was surreal, noting now both V and Shohei Ohtani are renowned stars in their respective fields.
The ceremonial first pitch is just one of V’s many schedules since completing his mandatory military service. The singer was recently appointed the new brand ambassador for Coca-Cola Korea, on top of already being the face of South Korea’s Compose Coffee chain. At the same time, V and the rest of BTS are currently in Los Angeles to work on new music for their highly anticipated comeback album.
