The solo careers of each One Direction member are finally taking off – much to the delight of Directioners around the world.
Harry Styles and Niall Horan aren’t the only One Direction crooners with new music out. Liam Payne – who recently welcome his first child, Bear, into the world – is also debuting his first ever solo single.
Titled “Strip That Down”, Payne’s new collaboration with Ed Sheeran will debut next week (Friday, 19th May). The hip-hop banger features rapper Quavo (one third of Migos). “I just came from a video,” Quavo recently revealed to Capital XTRA DJ Tim Westwood.
“My boy Liam from One Direction. We just shot that. Crazy vid. Crazy visuals. Crazy team. Cool guy, nice guy. It’s going up. I wasn’t even supposed to say that,” he added.
The 23-year-old heartthrob took to social media to reveal a sexy new promo clip of his single. The teaser shows a shirtless Payne flexing his muscles and dancing with his back to the camera. There’s also a snippet of Payne’s catchy little “yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah” hook to wet your appetite.

Given the racy visual, we’re assuming the handsome pop star will be venturing into something more sexual – kind of like what Zayn Malik did with “Pillowtalk”.
