With the revival of y2k fashion in the last few years, it goes without saying that tokidoki is making its comeback – and what better way to do so but by collaborating with Skechers for their new SKECHERS x tokidoki collection?
Nostalgic & Iconic Design
Luckily for us, we were sent their Skechers Uno sneakers for a review. Right off the bat, we can see the cast of tokidoki’s beloved Unicorno characters and other adored personalities featured all over the box. Nothing screams y2k more than fun, crazy patterns of characters we all know and love!
The shoes adopt the iconic tokidoki heart and crossbones logo but with a twist: it comes in bright blue, pink and yellow hues. This simple pop of colour and iconic logo design truly embodies the y2k spirit, all while keeping a clean and minimalistic look — perfect for any outfit for any occasion.
Comfortable & Stylish, Too!
Wearing the shoes on a regular basis has proved to be both comfortable and stylish at the same time. The shoe comes with a visible air-cushioned midsole, allowing for a classic ‘sneaker’ look while also giving us extra comfort no matter how long we’ve been walking. Additionally, the cushioning also gives you an extra inch or two in height, so calling all my short queens out there: these sneakers are made for you!

Meanwhile, the collection also offers their Upbeats, designed with colourful pipings and pops of tokidoki character designs on its outsole – talk about being subtle but striking at the same time!
