Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza has officially been appointed as the face of Swarovski Malaysia for this year’s Hari Raya campaign. During the event launch that took place at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysian national treasure came decked out in Swarovski jewels.
VIP customers and members of the media were not only treated to a preview of the beautiful new campaign and an elegant high tea, Siti Nurhaliza also performed Frankie Vallie hit, “Can’t Take
My Eyes Off You”, and her own chart-topping classic, “Aku Cinta Padamu”.
Seeing as how live performances have been few and far between over the past few years, getting to witness Malaysia’s #1 singer was truly a treat. Her unquestionable talent only reinforces why she is has been bestowed the honorific of “The Voice of Asia”. Siti Nurhaliza also teased that she’s currently working on her new album and will be releasing some new songs in the coming weeks.
During the Q&A session with emcee Ms. Yvonne Lee, the 43-year-old songstress also shared how she’s been coping with the pandemic, the meaning of Hari Raya, and her fondness for Swarovski. “I have been a long-time fan of the brand for years, and I have my own personal collection of Swarovski
favourites. Swarovski is known to come up with bold designs, like the Lucent cocktail ring which I
absolutely love. Wearing these pieces gives women that boost of confidence and is such a
perfect accompaniment to any outfit,” she said.
In addition, Mr. Lars Schmidt, Senior Vice President Asia South and Managing Director India and
Southeast Asia also explained why this humble Malaysian songbird represents Swarovski well. He shared, “Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza is a devoted mother and wife, a hugely successful businesswoman, a philanthropist, style icon and role model. Her inner confidence, grace and elegance personify the integral values of this special collection, and we are proud to have her as the face of our Hari Raya campaign.”
