Everyone looks forward to getting married. But ask any married couple and they will tell you, that planning the wedding can be difficult. On top of trying to ensure everything is perfect, it can be hard to even nab a date, depending on how busy the couple are.
Hong Kong artists Carlos Chan (陈家乐) and Shiga Lin (连诗雅) revealed mid last year that they were officially engaged. However, since then, there has been little to no news about their wedding. Well, wait no longer, Carlos and Shiga have finally revealed their wedding date!
Both Carlos and Shiga know people have been anxious about their special date. “People (have been) asking me when (we’ll be wedded),” Carlos said, with Shiga adding, “It turns out, planning a wedding is not easy at all.” Their busy schedules have not helped the situation either.
“I’m so busy, it’s hard to take a day off,” Carlos admitted. As it turns out, the duo, have been waiting to take their wedding photos for their grand announcement. Thankfully, Carlos finally managed to free up his schedule, hence their amazing announcement. The duo revealed they will be holding their wedding on 24th April.
“It’s a big day for me!” Carlos wrote. “(We’re) looking forward to seeing our relatives and friends on that day to witness our important moment,” Shiga said. Both added they were equally excited to share the rest of their lives with each other. “It isn’t easy to find someone who likes to count the stars and watch anime with me, but I found (one),” Shiga said, with Carlos writing: “The future Mrs. Chan is so good!”
Shiga and Carlos first met when they filmed the travel program “12 Summers (12個夏天)” together in 2019. The duo starting dating shortly after, and two years later, in June 2022, Carlos proposed to Shiga.
Since then, fans and friends alike have been waiting to witness the two’s wedding. Well, congrats to the couple! Like everyone else, we too are eagerly looking forward to April and all the blessings it will bring.
