Whenever someone famous starts to showcase some odd behaviour, it’s natural for the public to voice concern – but others may have something more devious to say. Recently, local actress Nonny Nadirah had to call out some people who had tried to take advantage of her.
The 35-year-old was recently in the news after she displayed odd behaviour on social media, including posting a video of her shaving her head. Nonny has yet to address her motive for the bold action – but the public figure then continues posting more shocking videos, including a somewhat revealing video of her dancing in a towel. She also posted another of her taking a shower and playing with the shampoo in her hair.
The videos understandably had fans and netizens concerned over the star and her mental health. Unfortunately, Nonny’s videos also garnered the attention of a few individuals who mistook the actress’ moment of vulnerability as an invitation for intimate relations. While it’s unsure what kind of messages Nonny has received, it’s believed that they may have been inappropriate – so much so that Nonny herself felt the need to call them out directly.
Through her Instagram Stories, the 35-year-old wrote, “I’m selling a product, not my body. I don’t have a boyfriend or a scandal. I’ve been married but (my) current status – a divorcee and single. It’s been four years since I’ve last been touched”. She also denied that the recent change in her image signifies that she’s trying to sell herself, writing, “I’m just being sexy, I’m not selling myself to get rich”. Nonny also added that she’s happy the way she is and not looking to be attached to anyone.
Previously, Nonny revealed that she had to step away from the entertainment industry because she was recovering, allegedly from being cursed by black magic. While it’s unsure what’s going on with Nonny, we wish her the best and may she get the help she needs when she’s ready to seek it.
