Former lovebirds Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are hanging out again – and apparently it’s no big deal.
The 2 superstars, who dated on and off for about 3 years, have been spotted hanging out multiple times over the last couple of weeks. Apparently, their friendship rekindled after Selena Gomez underwent kidney transplant surgery back in May.
According to reports, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have been seen together at her Los Angeles home, and they were also spotted having breakfast together at the JOi Cafe in Westlake Village in California.
However, the 2 maintain that they are strictly friends and nothing more, as Selena is still happily dating her boyfriend, The Weeknd. Sources say that she is merely trying to reconnect with old friends, especially in light of recovering from her health issues.
A inside source also confirmed with Entertainment Tonight that there is nothing romantic happening between the 2 former lovers. “Selena is still with The Weeknd, and she only sees Justin as a friend. They are not dating, it’s nothing romantic. Justin and Selena are just friends right now. They reconnected and, right now, Justin wants to be a good friend to her,” the source said.
Furthermore, Selena’s beau The Weeknd – who is currently on tour – is totally okay with the two hanging out, according to another source. “The Weeknd is well aware Selena and Justin are talking. The Weeknd doesn’t think Selena talking to Justin again is weird at all. He doesn’t care.” the source revealed. “She (Selena) is very honest and open with The Weeknd about Justin.”
