Following her brother’s assault scandal, BLACKPINK (블랙핑크) member Jisoo (지수) released a statement stating her stance on the issue, noting that she has no connection to the matter. However, recent news reports suggest that the singer has long severed ties with her sibling.
Earlier this week, entertainment YouTuber Lee Jin Ho released a video, sharing allegations about Jisoo’s current relationship with her brother, Kim Jung Hun. The supplements company CEO has been making headlines recently after police arrested him for sexually assaulting a female streamer. Jisoo would later share a statement through her legal team, denying any connection to the issue.

Lee Jin Ho further added to this point, claiming that the “Earthquake” singer and her family severed ties with her brother after the hidden camera accusations in May 2025. At the time, employees from Kim Jung Hun’s company accused him of filming a video of himself having sexual intercourse with a woman without her consent. The anonymous employee also claimed he possessed illegal footage of other women.
The YouTuber claimed that Jisoo and her family lost trust in her brother following these claims, prompting them to cut ties with him. Meanwhile, Kim Jung Hun would later change his phone number after the accusation, meaning his family and friends had no way of contacting him. Lee Jin Ho also argued that Jisoo has no way of knowing her brother’s controversial behaviour as she hasn’t been in contact with him.

The video also touched on the claims that Kim Jung Hun manages Jisoo’s agency BLISSOO since his name was on the credits for her drama, “Boyfriend On Demand”. Lee Jin Ho explained that the filming took place before the first allegations, when Kim Jung Hun was still working with the company. However, Jisoo has allegedly attempted to remove his name from the credits, even paying the additional cost to edit the final output, highlighting her determination to sever all ties.
Given the recent claims, fans are now urging the public to refrain from connecting Jisoo with her brother’s controversy. Many also defend the star, saying she shouldn’t be responsible for her sibling’s actions.
