This is not a drill, guys! Hollywood superstar Dwayne Johnson and Apple’s “intelligent assistant” Siri are in a “movie” together.
The Rock took to social media to surprise fans with the news. As promised, the ad film, titled “The Rock x Siri: Dominate The Day”, dropped on Apple’s official YouTube channel on Monday (24th July).
I partnered with Apple to make the BIGGEST, COOLEST, CRAZIEST, DOPEST, MOST OVER THE TOP, FUNNEST (is that even a word?) movie ever. And I have the greatest co-star of all time – SIRI,” wrote the “Jumanji” star on Facebook. “I make movies for the world to enjoy and we also made this one to motivate you to get out there and get the job done. I want you to watch it, have fun with it and then go LIVE IT.”
“The Rock x Siri: Dominate The Day” basically shows how Johnson uses Siri to “dominate the day”. It starts off with Johnson asking Siri about his life goals list. He then drives furiously to an airport and boards a plane to Rome, Italy. It also features Johnson doing other cool stuff like playing a traditional Chinese instrument and taking a selfie in space.
