Dwayne Johnson “The Rock” Johnson is Hollywood’s highest paid actor in 2016 and now, he is PEOPLE magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive”.
And let’s be honest here, at the age of 44, he is looking hella fine! As PEOPLE puts it, “He’s sweet, smart, and sculpted”.
Johnson is a blockbuster movie star that doesn’t need any introduction. From “Tooth Fairy” (2010) to the “Fast & Furious” franchise, most (if not all) of the movies he has starred in achieved great success. With at least 4 upcoming movies (read: “Moana”, “Fast 8”, “Baywatch”, and “Jumanji 2”) for 2016 and 2017, it’s easy to see why the former WWE wrestler is the highest paid actor in Hollywood.
In speaking about his new title, Johnson said, “I said, ‘That’s awesome,’ and then what went through my mind was just how cool and exciting it is. And then I thought, ‘Wow, we’ve pretty much reached the pinnacle. I’m not quite too sure where we go from here. I’ve done it all, this is it”.
The actor also took to Facebook and Instagram to thank his fans and share his thoughts on “being sexy”. In his caption, he wrote, “Remember, sexy isn’t something you ‘try and be’. Sexy happens naturally when you’re comfortable just being yourself. Trust me, I’m an expert at this. (plus I read the “how to be sexy and a great kisser” guide when I was 8)”.
Can someone please give the man an Oscar for his humour?

After being up and working for approximately 23hrs straight.. all I got left is ✌🏾️and my nerdy aqua power socks. What an epic nonstop 24hrs for #MOANA. Grateful for EVERYONE who joined me. A true TEAM EFFORT and we all share in the success. Unfortunately what we don't all share is this bottle of Don Julio REAL that's waiting for me on this bird. Luv U back LA and now on my way back to the ATL to jump back into #Jumanji production. #24HourBlitz #EnergyKeptHighYetCalm #TequilaAwaits ✌🏾️
Johnson now replaces David Beckham as PEOPLE’s “Sexiest Man Alive”. Former heartthrobs owning the title includes Chris Hemsworth (2014), Adam Levine (2013), Channing Tatum (2012), and Bradley Cooper (2011).
