Taiwanese actress Joe Chen (陳喬恩) and Malaysian artist Alan Chen (曾伟), registered their marriage over two years ago, but fans had never seen them in their wedding attire—until a few days ago. On 30th July, the actress’ agency finally delighted fans by sharing pictures from the couple’s pre-wedding photo shoots on Weibo, the Chinese social media platform.
The agency captioned the post, “Living in love and filled with happiness. Collecting sweetness together by putting on the wedding dress.” 45-year-old Joe Chen and 36-year-old Alan Chen, posed in both Western and traditional Chinese wedding outfits, looking every bit the happy couple.

The famous actress expressed her joy about the photo shoot on Weibo, writing, “I am very happy with this photo shoot. Wishing everyone a happy Qixi Festival in advance.” The Qixi Festival, also known as Chinese Valentine’s Day, falls on 10th August this year.
The post has already been shared over 10,000 times, with fans leaving plenty of glowing comments. The Taiwan celeb, who recently starred in the hit Chinese period drama “The Double” alongside Wu Jinyan (吴谨), met her husband on the Chinese reality dating show “Meeting Mr Right II” in 2019. After dating for about two and a half years, they registered their marriage on 31st March 2022, at the Household Registration Office in Da’an District, Taipei City.
There have been rumours that the couple might be planning a small wedding banquet for close friends and family in late September. However, the “The Double” star’s manager told Taiwanese news portal SET News that she was unaware of any such plans. “I am happy for them if it is true. We haven’t heard from her about it, and she hasn’t asked the company for help,” she said.

Whether or not a wedding celebration is on the cards, fans are thrilled to finally see Joe and Alan Chen in their beautiful wedding outfits, celebrating their love. We wish the happy couple nothing but a joyous marriage.
