Due to La Nina, the Klang Valley experienced some serious flash floods last week, damaging many vehicles that were trapped on the roads.

Local automotive manufacturer, Perodua, announced via an official statement today (Monday, 16th May) that they will be providing assistance like towing services, discounts on selected car parts, and free inspections to determine the amount of damage done to affected vehicles.

“Our customers matter most to us and these value added services are provided to help relieve some of the burden our customers have to deal with during this disaster,” said Perodua President & CEO, Datuk Dr. Aminar Rashid Salleh in the press statement.

Besides that, he also added that Perodua customers can claim towing service up to a maximum of RM100 to the nearest Perodua service outlets while a 20% discount will be given to certain auto parts including electronic items, carpet, vehicle seats, door trims, and engine overhaul gaskets.
