Even before the first whistle for kick off has been blown at the FIFA World Cup 2026, Nike has scored big with its massive “X2” collection. The Swoosh unveiled its gigantic collaboration which combines seven of the biggest creative forces and influences in streetwear and seven national football teams.
The crown jewel of this rollout? The Nike Cryoshot, an all-new lifestyle silhouette inspired by legendary vintage cleats from the archives. Retailing at $210 USD (850 MYR), each collaborator was handed the keys to a different classic boot silhouette to create their masterpiece.
Here is how the world’s best in streetwear completely reinvented football culture:

1. Canada x NOCTA (Drake)
The Boot: Tiempo ’94
The Vibe: Drake’s NOCTA imprint brings a sporty, aggressive aesthetic to the classic Tiempo silhouette by drenching it in a bold University Gold and Black colorway.
2. USA x Virgil Abloh Archive (V.A.A.)
The Boot: Zoom M9
The Vibe: Pure Off-White DNA. Honoring the late, legendary visionary, the U.S. collection delivers a masterclass in vintage Americana. The Cryoshot is built from a crisp, tactile white material with fire-red accents and the iconic oversized “AIR” branding.

3. South Korea x PEACEMINUSONE (G-DRAGON)
The Boot: CTR360 Maestri II
The Vibe: Playful K-Pop energy. Coinciding with the brand’s 10th anniversary, the Cryoshot comes alive in a striking Natural, University Red, and Saturn Gold colorway.

4. England x Palace Skateboards
The Boot: Air Speed M
The Vibe: Blending English heritage with pure skate grit, Palace flipped the script by using a heavily textured, grainy black leather on the Cryoshot for the Three Lions.

5. France x Jacquemus
The Boot: Tiempo R10 (The Ronaldinho classic)
The Vibe: Simon Porte Jacquemus brought his signature aesthetic to Les Bleus. The Cryoshot is a chic, ultra-clean white and royal blue masterpiece meant for the streets of Paris.

6. Netherlands x Patta
The Boot: Mercurial Vapor R9 (The original Ronaldo Fenomeno boot)
The Vibe: The Cryoshot R9 is a futuristic head-turner wrapped in metallic silver, black, and hyper crimson.

7. Nigeria x Slawn
The Boot: 1976 Striker
The Vibe: Even though Nigeria didn’t qualify for the tournament, the Super Eagles’ undeniable cultural influence could not be ignored. British-Nigerian artist Slawn used Nike’s gear as a literal canvas, covering the 1976 Striker-inspired sneaker in busy, vibrant, hand-drawn graffiti artwork.
