Earlier this month, 2 of Nestlé’s most iconic beverage brands launched its range of all-new dairy free drinks. The result? Those looking for plant based or dairy free options can now enjoy the new MILO and NESCAFÉ Dairy Free beverages.
The new Nestlé dairy free drinks contain plant based ingredients and do not have ingredients sourced from animals. The milk is replaced with plant based protein sources such as almond, soy, oat and pea. Plant based products in general can be a good source of healthy fats, vitamins, minerals and dietary fibre, are lower in fat, lower in saturated fat and cholesterol free.
More and more consumers these days are not only health conscious but also want healthier variety in their diets that are more sustainable yet tasty. The new dairy free options of Malaysia’s favourite drinks are also suitable for consumers with lactose intolerance. In addition, the Healthier Choice Logo found on these products indicate that these drinks are lower in sugar and fat compared to others within the same product category.
