Can you imagine going on a cruise trip with your favourite idols? Well, iconic Malaysian musical trio KRU is about to make that dream a reality for some lucky fans with their exclusive cruise showcase!
On 23rd October 2025 (Thursday), the group held a press conference to launch the Star KRUise Showcase, a unique travel and concert experience presented by SUKA Cruise, StarDream Cruise and Sony Music Malaysia that combines a cruise holiday and a KRU concert. The 5-day 4-night showcase will take place aboard the luxurious Star Voyage Cruise (SVO) in late January 2026.
The Star KRUise Showcase offers two sailing routes: a Singapore route, which will take place from 25th to 29th January 2026 (Sunday to Thursday) and a Port Klang route, which begins sailing from 26th to 30th January 2026 (Monday to Saturday). There will be four room types available, with earlybird prices ranging from RM2,588 to RM4,888 per pax. The package includes accommodation, meals, passes to KRU’s performances and shore excursions.
SUKA Travel & Tours CEO Adam Kamal Ahmad Kamil said the idea to combine a cruise holiday with a concert was born out of a desire to give cruise-goers something new and exciting. KRU members Dato’ Norman, Edry and Datuk Yusry also expressed excitement about the event, which will mark the group’s first cruise show in their careers. The trio also promises an unforgettable experience for their fans, saying their performance will have a more intimate vibe.
