Previously, the Miss Hong Kong 2022 pageant (香港小姐競選) held interviews for over 100 applicants in order to select the best candidates. Some of the audience’s favourites made the cut, while others failed their interviews, keeping everyone watching the pageant on the edge of their seats.
On 11th August (Thursday), the 19 chosen finalists were introduced to the media in their swimsuits after three rounds of interviews. The qualified candidates will compete in the semi-finals on 4th September before moving on to the finals on 25th September. Here are the beauty pageant finalists:
Astrid Xu (徐麟)
- Age: 25
- Education: PHD candidate in Public Administration at University of Hong Kong
- Fun Fact: Astrid has been said to resemble Aimee Chan and Elizabeth Lee in appearance and is currently studying Cantonese for three months
Hebe Lam (林曉彤)
- Age: 25
- Education: Studied architecture in the UK
- Fun Fact: Hebe works as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor and has an Instagram account for her pet dog, Miu Miu.
Reina Chan (陳瑞菱)
- Age: 25
- Education: Masters (First Class Honours) at the London School of Economics
- Fun Fact: Reina is into fitness, singing, dancing and travelling and likes to play the piano
Cecca Xu (許子萱)
- Age: 25
- Education: Graduated from the University of Michigan
- Fun Fact: Cecca Xu has published a book titled “Memoirs of a Girl on Wall Street” at 22 years old
Chrissy Chen (陳婉怡)
- Age: 24
- Education: Masters degree in music at the Hong Kong Baptist University
- Fun Fact: Chrissy is a skilled pianist
Gabrielle Wang (王子蝶)

- Fun Fact: Gabrielle is currently working as a Business Valuation Analyst
Denice Lam (林鈺洧)
- Age: 27
- Fun Fact: Denice is the daughter of former TVB actor, Wilson Lam Chun-yin.
Cherry Chan (陳銘鳳)
- Age: 26
- Education: Graduated from Zhongshan University
- Fun Fact: Cherry was once a candidate in the Miss Hong Kong 2021 pageant, but didn’t make it to the second round.
Ceci Ho (何思懿)
- Age: 23
- Education: Studying journalism at the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong
- Fun Fact: Ceci enjoys dancing, including pole dancing, Jazz and K-pop. During her free time, Ceci sings, plays the piano and involves herself in charity work
Yohanna Fung (馮嘉敏)
- Age: 23
- Education: Masters in International Relations from Edinburgh University
- Fun Fact: Yohanna is interested in photography and is currently an English teacher
Naomi Zhang (張可欣)
- Age: 23
- Education: Currently a college student
- Fun Fact: Naomi studied piano and painting since she was very young
Sharon Ying (邢慧敏)
- Age: 27
- Education: Degree in Marketing from City University of Hong Kong
- Fun Fact: Sharon is a fashion model and the founder of Shadle Studio
Joey Leung (梁超怡)
- Age: 26
- Education: Degree in Marketing from the Illinois State University
- Fun Fact: Chloe enjoys travelling
Chloe Cheung (張光怡)
- Age: 25
- Education: Degree in Medicine from the University of Hong Kong
- Fun Fact: If you’re going to call her name, make sure you put ‘Doctor’ in front of it

- Education: Degree in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)
- Fun Fact: Stacia has a twin sister, Claudia Yeung
Khaki Leung (梁家琪)
- Age: 22
- Education: Currently pursuing Masters in Communications at the University of Sydney
- Fun Fact: Khaki enjoys fencing, scuba diving and surfing
