It’s been a hot minute since we last checked in on our favourite ATV artist, Sit Yeng Yi (号佳丽) aka Ah Yi (阿仪). The much-loved former Miss Asia Pageant 2021 participant has been visiting Malaysia for a work-holiday trip and she’s been having fun.
From having a durian-themed fan meet to meeting friends in Malaysia, Yeng Yi has been living the life despite her initial reluctance to come over. However, one can argue that her joy hasn’t really been shown in photos of her. Well, fear not because we finally have footage of Miss Yeng Yi smiling!
What ever could have caused this little marvel? Listen, we know that Disney Land is the “happiest place on earth” and is totally deserving of the title, but we truly believe Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park can give them a run for their money. After all, it’s the entire reason why we got not one, but two distinct photos of our dearly beloved Miss Ah Yi smiling.
Yeng Yi has apparently been looking forward to this trip to the theme park and she certainly looked very dapper during it. Her bright red jacket was certainly eye catching, but nothing compared to the striking smile she had on her face when preparing to ride the Alpha Fighter Pilots at the Andromeda Base. Additionally, a behind-the-scenes photo from AMM also caught her grinning, which was a rare catch.
If you’ve been following Yeng Yi on her socials, you’ll know how hard it is to catch her smiling. She has commendably managed to maintain a stoic face for nearly every photo of her that can be found. However, it seems Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park has managed to break that streak.
Of course, her other photos still had her iconic deadpan look, but fans were satisfied to finally see her smile. In fact, with the reception to her smile, we might have finally discovered the reason why she reserves her smile for special occasions.
