CIGA Design

CIGA Design, the award-winning Chinese watch maker, has released the new Gilding edition of their famed Blue Planet series. SANDRO has collaborated with French artist and designer Louis Barthélemy to express his universe in a capsule collection alongside Evelyne Chetrite, Founder and Artistic Director of SANDRO. Dividing his time between Paris, Egypt, and Morocco, he demonstrates deep commitment to the preservation and revival of traditional craftsmanship. The love for Morocco and an intimate attachment to its crafts were the points of encounter with Evelyne Chetrite.

Evelyne wanted the collection to be in the spirit of a modern fresco. Louis imagined bright graphics inspired by scenes of Moroccan life. These graphics came to life on fluid materials, silk for shirts, T-shirts and scarves, or polyester for shorts and pants. Two Kasbah bags, one of which is entirely hand-embroidered, also reflect this dreamlike universe.

UNIQLO

UNIQLO is back with a new collaboration with designer Maiko Kurogouchi, creator of the Mame Kurogouchi fashion brand. Bringing together designs with pleasantly curved lines and exclusive UNIQLO fabrics and production techniques, it’s a collection with sensual materials, cuttings, and colour tones. LifeWear that is elegant, while at the same time lightweight and comfortable, brings excitement to everyday, casual moments.

The UNIQLO and Mame Kurogouchi Spring/Summer 2023 collection will be dropping on Friday, 28th April. The full lineup will be available at UNIQLO stores in Malaysia, and the uniqlo.com online store.
