Christmas may be over, but that doesn’t mean you still can’t find an excuse to experience a magical meal at Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur’s new pop-up restaurant.
Themed “Find Your Lucky Stars”, the stunning interior invites diners to indulge in an out-of-this-world dining escapade for a limited time only. If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to eat your meal while surrounded by shimmering stars, this is your chance.
Conceptualised by multi award-winning global interior designer, Emma Maxwell, the one-of-a-kind pop-up restaurant made its debut last month at Sheraton Imperial for the holiday season (from 12th to 29th December 2017). Due to the well reception, it appears that “Find Your Lucky Stars” has been extended for another month.
That’s right peeps, foodies who wish to dine right beneath the stars and be swept away by the dreamy setting can do so from now till the end of the month (31st January). Curated by Chef Ho Boon, the exclusive new menu include tantalising meals such as Crispy Fried Irish Oyster, Double Boiled Chicken Consommé, Celestial Court Steamed Cod Fish, Strawberry and Chocolate Dumpling Pot Sticker, and more.

“As guests walk through the threshold of the external austere and rigid structure, they are swept from the chaotic and bustling streets of Kuala Lumpur and submerged into a seductive and evocative “other” world. A scene that is the exact opposite of what they perceived from the rigidity of the exterior of the structure,” Emma Maxwell describes the journey.
The creative mastermind adds, “They will then, venture into a fantastical scene that initially doesn’t make sense to the human condition. Guests are placed ‘upside down’ in an evocative landscape, where the clouds and the tree tops are the basis for the floor and walls.” As seen from the GIF above, guests will witness the dark void space transform into a shimmering star field.
Each session is only limited to 12 people. Patrons wanting to experience “Find Your Lucky Stars” are advised to make reservations at Sheraton Imperial Hotel’s official website here. Meals are priced at RM438 nett with wine pairing or RM388 nett with mocktail.
