According to Utusan Malaysia, rumours suggest that Emma Maembong recently secretly married a nightclub DJ named DJ Kidd, and the two were allegedly spotted together on a holiday in a neighbouring country. A source told the news outlet that their relationship began after the actress finalised her divorce last year.
Several local media then contacted the star’s younger sister, actress Chacha Maembong, to verify the rumours. “To be honest, I don’t know anything about those rumours or how and when they even started so I can’t really say anything as it could make things worse. I was never aware of any of this. I just got home from work and I just want to rest,” she told Kosmo. Emma Maembong, on the other hand, has yet to respond to media inquiries regarding the recent rumours surrounding her.
Previously, the “Bisikan Jenazah” star denied rumours that she was in a relationship after announcing her divorce from Muhammad Shazli Azha, clarifying that she wished to focus on her career and co-parenting their children. She also dismissed speculations that infidelity was the reason for their separation, stating: “What happened between us is our business, but I want to clarify that there was no other person involved and there was no argument. It was a mutual decision.”
