By now, many K-pop fans in Malaysia have probably already heard that the chart-topping pop-rock band DAY6 (데이식스) will perform in Kuala Lumpur later this year. Given that it’s the band’s first time performing here since their debut in 2015, it’s no surprise that the fans are doing all they can to secure a seat to the much-anticipated show.
A true testament to the band’s popularity here in Malaysia, tickets for their “Forever Young” concert have already sold out following the two pre-sales and general sales. However, you won’t have to worry if you missed out on getting a ticket for yourself because the concert’s organiser, Live Nation, has dropped some great news. They’ve added a new date to the concert, which means DAY6 will be performing two shows in Kuala Lumpur later this year!
Live Nation announced the news via their social media accounts, revealing that DAY6 will perform another show on 6th October 2024 (Sunday) at Mega Star Arena, in addition to their first show on 5th October 2024 (Saturday). Ticket prices and seating remained unchanged, and tickets will go on sale on 28th August 2024 (Wednesday), from 11am onwards. This news comes after the official ticketing partner, GoLive Asia, hinted at a possible update to the concert.
Many fans have reacted to the announcement, with many expressing gratitude towards the concert organisers for listening to their requests. Previously, many fans were urging the concert organiser, Live Nation, to either add more dates or change to a larger venue to fulfil the demand for the concert. Unfortunately, there is no news of a venue change. Here are the details for the additional show date:

While it’s not much, we hope an additional date will allow more local fans to enjoy the concert. The “ticketing war” for DAY6’s first Malaysia concert was so competitive that some fans had to beg fans from other countries to skip the show.
