Johor Bahru’s fast-growing coffee culture is set for a caffeine high as style-centric Capri by Fraser, Johor Bahru teams up with leading player JWC Coffee to turn everyone’s favourite brew into a whole new lifestyle experience.

With its philosophy of injecting local flavour into its hospitality experiences, the collaboration with Malaysian brand JWC, aka Just Want Coffee, is yet another way of connecting with guests and locals in an authentic way, says Magdalina Chung, General Manager of Capri by Fraser, Johor Bahru.

“We are excited to collaborate with JWC Coffee,” adds Ms Chung. “Their commitment to excellence and innovation in coffee aligns perfectly with our values of delivering exceptional hospitality. This partnership will allow us to offer our guests a unique and superior coffee experience, further enhancing their stay with us.”

Nelson Lai, founder of JWC Coffee Group, concurs. “Partnering with Capri by Fraser, Johor Bahru is a wonderful opportunity to showcase our dedication to quality and the art of coffee making. We look forward to bringing our passion for coffee to their esteemed guests and contributing to their overall experience at the hotel.”

The collaboration reflects Capri by Fraser’s ethos of supporting local brands and talent in the cities it operates in, explains Ms Chung. “As a homegrown brand, JWC Coffee is deeply rooted in Johor Bahru, and we are thrilled to support local entrepreneurs while celebrating the city’s rich cultural heritage.”

JWC Coffee made its name as one of the few companies in Malaysia to import coffee beans directly from farms in their countries of origin. Started in 2009 by enthusiasts who wanted to elevate the coffee experience in the country, it works closely with reputable suppliers to ensure the beans are of high quality and ethically produced.

Capri by Fraser, Johor Bahru’s selected blend features beans from the world’s top coffee producers, Brazil and Colombia – a unique combination that yields a taste akin to caramel popcorn and milk chocolate. JWC is also well known for its award-winning baristas who regularly win at both national and regional competitions. With their skills and expertise, guests and locals alike can look forward to more than just a garden variety latte or macchiato at Capri by Fraser, Johor Bahru.

There is also a lineup of exclusive events and promotions in the works, from coffee tasting sessions and barista workshops to special coffee-infused menus.

Together, Capri by Fraser, Johor Bahru and JWC Coffee Group are set to further redefine the hospitality game in Johor Bahru. With stylish vibes, convenient location and gourmet coffee, expect a fresh new experience to liven up the already vibrant cafe scene in the city.
