The Singapore Grand Prix is one of the most highly anticipated events for race car enthusiasts. The annual event is part of the Formula One World Championship and every year, F1 fans will gather at the Marina Bay Street Circuit to witness their favourite racers go up against each other to earn the No. 1 spot.

However, the race is only half the fun. One of the highlights of the Singapore Grand Prix is the lineup of performances! Over the years, many amazing acts have taken the stage at the concert. It was announced earlier today (Thursday, 20th February), that G-Dragon (권지용) will be one of the main acts for this year’s Singapore Grand Prix!

After a seven-year hiatus, the global superstar will be making his much-awaited comeback to Singapore. He has been a dominant force in the music scene since his debut with BIGBANG in 2006. The rapper released the single ‘POWER’ late last year and recently performed his latest track, ‘HOME SWEET HOME,’ with BIGBANG bandmates Taeyang and Daesung at the 2024 MAMA Awards, where he made history as the first recipient of the ‘Music Visionary of the Year’ award.

So, Malaysians, while we wait for the day G-Dragon comes to our shores for a solo or group concert with BIGBANG, now’s your chance to see him in the neighbouring country. Here are the details:

The Singapore Grand Prix 2025

  • Date: 3rd October 2025 (Friday)
  • Time: TBC
  • Venue: Zone 4, Padang Stage, Marina Bay Street Circuit
  • Ticketing: SGD$688 (RM2,209.36) – 3 Days, SGD$168 (RM555.62) – 1 Day

“G-Dragon is not the only main act performing at the event. It has also been announced that Sir Elton John will take the stage on the final day (Sunday, 5th October) of the Singapore Grand Prix, at the same zone. So, if you’re a fan of both icons, you might want to consider investing in the 3-day pass to make your trip worthwhile! Do note that more acts will be announced soon, so be sure to follow the official Singapore Grand Prix social media pages for updates.
